The Youth Education and Career Center at GCIT is a high school equivalency test preparation program that operates year round and provides TASC (Test Assessing Secondary Completion) preparation services for out-of-school Gloucester County youth between the ages of 16 and 24.

While preparing for the TASC, students are given the opportunity to participate career exploration and recreational trips. Breakfast, lunch, counseling, and assistance with transportation is available at no cost to the student.

The Youth Education and Career Center at GCIT also offers employment skills preparation, vocational training, and job search assistance. Transition services are available for students interested in post-secondary education.

All students receive weekly incentives for meeting their educational and attendance objectives. Students must meet eligibility requirements.
