Young Life Salem County

Young Life Salem County is part of a world-class organization for adolescents. Our staff and volunteers enter the world of kids, focusing on what matters to them — fun, adventure, friendship and a sense of significance. In doing so, we earn the privilege of talking to them about something that we think matters most of all — the truth about God and His love for us.

We currently have programs for high school students, middle school students, and for teen mothers. We are currently seeking interest in starting a program for students and young adults with disabilities.

Young Life exists in our community because of adults who invite and support our presence. We call them our committee. Parents are our partners — we want the best for your kid, too. Young Life helps kids make good decisions and encourages them to become leaders of character among their peers. Young Life models mentoring relationships and helps older students use their influence in positive ways. Our leaders are adults who are screened carefully and trained continuously.

Young Life is a non-denominational Christian non-profit. Today, you'll find Young Life in more than 100 countries and is supported by 5,454 staff members, more than 81,000 volunteers and 220,000 donors.?
